Bimber Distillery - Small Batch Olorosso Cask Batch No 1

This is the first batch of Bimber’s Small Batch series. It was matured in ex-bourbon oak casks and finished in ex-Spanish Oloroso sherry butts. Batch 1 was bottled at cask strength in June 2020. Only 950 bottles released. Tasting Notes
Nose = Wood, sweet notes of stewed strawberry and roasted almonds.
Taste = Nicely creamy, sweet, some spices, cardamom and cloves, some rye bread and raisins.
Finish = Nicely spicy and hence warming, lingers long and leaves you with a dry but wonderfully sweetened mouth.
