Malt Social x Loaded Barrel - Cacao Nib Seasoned Single Malt Whisky, 51% ABV

The latest addition to the Malt Social x Loaded Barrel Distillery collaboration, this limited edition single malt whisky seasoned with cacao nibs once again challenges the boundaries of traditional whisky-making.

Combining Loaded Barrel’s signature style with the rich bitterness and subtle chocolate notes of organic cacao nibs, this exceptional whisky offers a uniquely layered tasting experience. The deep cacao character is beautifully balanced by the whisky's smooth, rich texture, leaving a lingering bittersweet finish that beckons another sip.

Expect the usual suspects associated with “American oak” — caramel, vanilla, and toffee — up front, followed by faint hints of cacao-chocolate bitterness that persist long after the last drop.

Distilled using single-origin Australian barley in 1500L copper pot stills, this whisky was then matured in a 200L virgin American white oak barrel, expertly toasted and charred to Loaded Barrel’s proprietary specifications. After 18 months of seasoning with cacao nibs, the whisky was bottled at 51% ABV, delivering a bold and distinctive expression that highlights the innovation at the heart of this collaboration.
